Como hacer mas rapido el boot 'eo ala hora de Iniciar nuestro Slackware

Bueno como lo acabo de hacer, y tal vez muchos usuarios de slackware ya lo han hecho pero no lo han publicado, se puede comentar mucho pero sere breve como siempre.

la solucion de hacer posible esto de una manera sencilla es editando el archivo /etc/rc.d/rc.M mandando algunos script o conocidos como demonios iniciarlos background y como es posible hacer esto? bueno en bash hay un caracter que se utiliza de esta manera:

sh script.sh &

y directamente lo mandara a ejecucion background y te mostrara el prompt para seguir realizando tareas, se puede realizar en cualquier terminal..

bueno entonces estos son los archivos y los pegare ya editados por si quieren utilizarlos....

Integrar kaffeine y kget con firefox

Bien ahora hablare sobre como integrar kaffeine con firefox y tambien kget.

comenzando por kaffeine es primeramente tenerlo instalado previamente al igual que firefox eso es mas que obvio, ahora solo toca instalar un pequeño software no es otra cosa mas que un plugin pero no es necesario instalarlo en el sistema simplemente compilarlo en tu usuario si tus deseos solo es usarlo propiamente, entonces se baja el kaffeine-mozilla de esta url despues toca descomprimirlo.

tar -xvjf kaffeine-mozilla.*

despues toca compilarlo con lo siguiente:

./compile --prefix=/home/$USER/.mozilla

make && make install

y listo con esto lo tenemos instalado
ahora solo basta con reiniciar y probar :)


para integrar el kget en firefox, como se sabe kget es un gestor de descargas si te gusta hacer descargas directas, entonces solo hace falta instalar el plugin flashgot y reiniciar firefox , despues de haber esho irse alas preferencias de flashgot y seleccionar kget.

Microfonos integrados

Para aquellos que utilizan KDE y no les funciona el microfono integrado que tengan lo mas común es tratar de recompilar el kernel o bien querer actualizar alsa .

Bien ahora no se trata de eso ni de buscar una solución dificil, tal vez si se pueda hacer una actualizacion de alsa pero ahora no es necesario.. simplemente si tu tarjeta de sonido usa el modulo snd_hda_intel entonces solo basta ir a Centro de control > Sonidos y multimedia > Sistema de sonido despues de estar alli entrar en la pestaña de Hardware y marcar en donde dice Full duplex con esto ya tendran funcionando su microfono integrado, ahora solo falta hacer la prueba de por medio.

Optimizando los gtk en slackware

como podran ver para los que usan obviamente kde en slackware 12.1, ala hora de abrir una aplicacion que utiliza gtk o esta abasado en el mismo, la aplicacion tarda en abrir por que hace uso del software scim y hace que se realentize en la apertura de la aplicacion entonces para ello hice que corriera al inicio del kde la aplicacion scim y asi ala hora de abrir cualquier aplicacion que este basado en los gtk corran mucho mas rapido.

entonces hice este pequeño script, en donde se coloca en el siguiente directorio, ~/.kde/Autostart/

vamos haciendolo paso por paso.. primero se posicionan en el directorio:

cd ~/.kde/Autostart/

ahora lo siguiente seria tocar el archivo:

touch scim.sh

despues de crear el archivo abrirlo y editarlo:

pico scim.sh

ahora se pega el siguiente codigo para que scim arranque al iniciar kde.

ahora solo hace falta reiniciar kde y listo, ahora podran ver que las aplicaciones basadas en gtk correran mas rapido ala hora de abrirlos.

Broadcom wireless 4311 wlan mini pci Slackware 12.1

como ya no se utiliza y es obsoleto el driver bcm43xx hay dos nuevos, los cuales son b43 y b43legacy, el mas nuevo es el b43 todos vienen dentro del kernel en slackware ya viene list para cargarlo pero tal vez no funcione y se explicara como utilizarlo.

lo que se va a utilizar es cargando el driver libre b43 para hacer funcionar tu tarjeta inalambrica en el kernel 2.6.24.5 de igual manera puede funcionar con versiones nuevas y/o tal vez versiones del kernel mas antiguos.

primero hay que checar cual es la version de tu tarjeta inalambrica broadcom con este comando en especifico:

lspci | grep Network

arrojaria algo parecido a esto, que aqui es la que yo uso

# lspci | grep Network

cabe mencionar que tienes que hacer uso del firmware para b43 para descargarlo y hacer la instalacion y configuracion correcta habra que ejecutar los siguientes comandos:

wget http://bu3sch.de/b43/fwcutter/b43-fwcutter-011.tar.bz2

con este comando haces la descarga del fwcutter

tar -xvjf b43-fwcutter-011.tar.bz2

se descomprime el archivo

cd b43-fwcutter-011

se accede ala carpeta que se descomprime

make && make install

se instala

ahora lo que se va hacer es descargar el firmware y luego instalarlo para que pueda cargar ese firmware el modulo b43

wget http://downloads.openwrt.org/sources/broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0.tar.bz2

se descarga el firmware

tar -xvjf broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0.tar.bz2

se descomprime el archivo

b43-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0/kmod/wl_apsta.o

se instala el firmware en el directorio /lib/firmware

listo como veras tienes instalado el firmware para la tarjeta broadcom, no mas basta con cargar el modulo no mas es necesario ejecutar este comando:

modprobe b43

para ello ya deberia de funcionar la tarjeta inalambrica... solo basta con ejecutar:

iwconfig

arrojaria este resultado:

o de igual manera puedes hacerlo con el comando ifconfig

si no da resultado habra que parchear el modulo del b43 descargando el siguiente patch y recompilar el kernel para asi hacerlo funcionar...

cd /usr/src/linux

te adentras al directorio /usr/src/linux

wget http://linuxwireless.org/download/b43/patch_2.6.24_for_4311_2

descargas el parche

patch -p1 < patch_2.6.24_for_4311_2


ahora lo unico que hace falta es recompilar el kernel y listo ahora funcionara tu tarjeta inalambrica..

para probar simplemente ejecutar

ifconfig ó iwconfig

ahora para poder conectarte puedes hacerlo de manera manual utilizando iwconfig .... o hacer uso de wlassistant

ahora acaba de salir la nueva version de slackware..

checando los changelogs

Clonar Screen con nvidia, xorg y slackware

Para clonar la pantalla se necesita la tarjeta de video nvidia logicamente la que yo uso es la nVidia Corporation C51 [Geforce 6150 Go] para eso tenemos que utilizar el driver privativo de nvidia si no lo tiene descargarlo de aqui:

entonces despues de haberlo instalado y haber cargado el driver en el /etx/X11/xorg.conf
por ejemplo es asi:

buscar la seccion de "Device" y en donde dice Driver ponerle nvidia quedaria algo asi:

con esto ya deberia de funcionar para clonar su pantalla :)

manejo de la bateria slackware

para empezar cuando de laptop se habla se tiene que tener un control sobre la pila ver su porcentaje cuando esta llena y su rendimiento para ello se tienen que cargar algunnos modulos correspondientes a ellos asi mismo tambien para tener un ahorro sobre eso se maneja el cpufreq para regularizar la velocidad del procesador y asi tener un mejor rendimiento para ello.

hay una entrada que habla sobre cpufreq en eso no habra problema aqui se deja el enlace para ello:

bien ahora se cargaran los modulos correspondientes para el acpi:

para no hacer las cosas mas complidas y hacernos la vida facil hay una utilidad donde te da los datos de la bateria el % que tiene de carga y la temperatura de la laptop la cual es acpitool con su respectivo enlace. mostraria la informacion asi:

si estan utilizando kde pueden ir a kcontrol > bateria del portatil, y configurarse las opciones que ustedes deseen y reiniciar el modo grafico asi les aparecera el icono de la pila en la bandeja del sistema.

para que esto se haga automaticamente para que se carguen losmodulos al arrancar el sistemas solamente agregar los comandos que cargan los modulos en /etc/rc.d/rc.local

cpufreq en slackware

es una breve explicacion para que sirve cpufreq y como utilizarlo en slackware.
normalmente se utiliza para regularizar la velocidad del procesador para ciertas necesidades de las aplicaciones que se esten utilizando.
conmunmente los amd los soporta facilmente tambien hay otros pero eso es otra cosa yo hablare sobre los amd Xd ...

bueno como en slackware ya viene incluido el soporte para cpufreq no habra necesidad mas que cargar los modulos necesarios para su funcionamiento para esto se ejecutan los siguientes comandos como root obviamente.

# /sbin/modprobe powernow-k8

Esto es para cool&quiet que son los que se estan utilizando ultimante.

Despues de haber cargado el modulo para tener soporte lo siguiente que se hara es cargar el siguiente modulo que se requiere para la regularizacion de la frecuencia del procesador dependiendo de sus gustos o necesidades .

# /sbin/modprobe cpufreq_ondemand

Con este modulo vas a agregar el soporte para la frecuencia bajo demanda, el cual utiliza la minima frecuencia soportada del procesador y cuando se requiere mas velocidad va creciendo o incrementandose de acuerdo a los requirimientos.

# /sbin/modprobe cpufreq_performance

Este modulo se utiliza para tener la frecuencia del procesador ala maxima velocidad y aprovechar el maximo recurso del procesador.

# /sbin/modprobe cpufreq_conservative

Con este modulo se aprovecha la minima frecuencia y no sube gradualmente se mantiene en la mas pequeña frecuencia soportada por el procesador.

aqui les va un pequeño script que pueden utilizar para darle uso a la frecuencia que mas les convenga

en la linea donde va ondemand pueden cambiarla por 'perfomance' o por 'conservative'.

asi cada vez que inicien su slackware se cargaran los modulos y al igual tendran su frecuencia utilizandose.

claro que el ciclo es usado para cuando sea dos procesadores no solamente uno.

Bueno este es mi primer texto asi que no me critiquen mucho si esta mal hecho o no le entienden.
Asi que espero que les guste y les sea de su total agrado… saludos

Bueno para comenzar vamos viendo la sintaxys del nmap

Sintaxys: nmap parametros ‘ip ó *Rango’

*Rango: por ejemplo el rango se maneja asi… 200.92.*.*

Solo basta para ver los parametros del nmap con teclear ‘nmap‘, y les aparecerá esto en la consola:

Ahora bien vamos a explicar para que sirve cada parametro y para ellos agarre esta ip para ejemplo 67.15.192.2…vamos por el primero:

*El parametro ‘-sS’ este parametro solo se puede usar con privilegios de root y te scanea en modo stealth, y todos los puertos que puedes tener. Veamos el siguiente ejemplo:

Que interesante es este parametro, puedes utilizarlo cuando quieres ver los puertos que tiene abierto de un host en especifico y que servicios son los que corre ese puerto.

*Continuamos con el siguiente parametro ‘-sT’ se utiliza igual que el parametro ‘-sS’ solo que este no trabaja en modo stealth y no necesitas tener privilegios de root para usarlo. y en vista que se utiliza para lo mismo no es necesario poner un ejemplo del mismo.

*Bien seguimos con el paramero ‘-sU’ este parametro es utilizado para scanear puerto UDP trabaja de igual modo que los parametros anteriores solo que en lugar de escanear TCP escanea UDP, esta mas que claro.

*El siguiente parametro es ‘-sP’ este parametro es utilizado para pingear al host y ver si esta up o esta down, veamos el siguiente ejemplo:

*Ahora Veamos el siguiente parametro que es ‘-p’ es para scanear un rango de ports en especifico, por ejemplo utilizando la siguiente sintaxys:

*Bien ahora otro parametro y muy importante es el ‘-v’ el cual es utilizado para obtener informacion de un host, y tambien puedes agregarle otra v para que obtenga mas informacion y es recomendable . Por ejemplo:

*Otro parametro es ‘-P0′ este parametro es utilizado para que no pingee al host.

*otro parametro e importante es guardar logs de tus scaneos realizados este es el parametro ‘oN,-oX,-oG’ la sintaxys es la siguiente:

Sintaxys: -oG logfile

Por ejemplo: nmap parametros ‘ip’ -oG log.txt

Bueno faltan algunos parametros pero de esos no hablare ahorita.

unas de las utilidades ke se puede hacer con el famoso scaner nmap es esto, por ejemplo: si quieres scanear un rango determinado solamente utilizas este comando

nmap -v ip -p 80

o bien para guardar el log solo tendrias que poner el parametro ‘-oG log.txt’.

Este famoso scanner tiene funciones que son muy interesante y las combinaciones que se les puede dar y lo rápido que es el scanner otra funcionalidad que le puedes dar ala hora scanear un determinado host es utilizando este comando

nmap -sS -P0 -O ip -oG log.txt

también pueden hacer esto si quieren scanear un rango en specifico por ejemplo:

nmap -p 22 200.92.*.* -oG log.txt

para buscar shells .

Solo es cuestión de que te pongas a pensar sobre como quieres utilizar el nmap y tener bien claro que puedes hacerlo muy potente de acuerdo de la imaginacion que tengas para scanear y las combinaciones que hagas con los parametros al igual que con netcat que también es una herramienta muy potente.. bueno hasta aquí lo dejo asi que me despido bye .
